Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 is concert film of The Who�s concert at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970. The concert occurred on 30 August 1970 at 2:00 am. A VHS was not released until 1996. A compact disc of the concert was also released in 1996. The concert was re-released on DVD in 1998 in the United States and 2006 in the United Kingdom.
This is the film of The Who�s appearance at the third (and final) Isle of Wight festival in 1970. This is regarded as the band�s finest performance. (Also included is a rare interview with Pete Townsend).
