Kirk and his crew are sent to investigate the disappearance of the USS Bowfin, a survey vessel assigned to study the tropical paradise world of Ka’apuoku Lono 4. One solved piece to the puzzle leaves many more in question until it becomes clear the peaceful inhabitants are on a collision course with annihilation.
