Sunset Beach: While Emily is calling her father, Bette persuades the ticket agent to tell her that she couldn't get her on a flight. Emily refuses to leave the airport for fear of missing another flight to Connecticut. Bette tells Emily that she isn't going to leave the airport without her, and so she convinces Emily to let her get a room at one of the hotels at the airport. Carmen arrives, saying that the signs were clear that she had to come there, and Ricardo and Antonio tell her that Maria's alive. Maria, who hasn't regained her memory, apologizes to Ben for the awkwardness of their first meeting.
