Beyblade Metal Fusion: While doing some training on his own, Benkei encounters Tetsuya Watarigani, a wandering beyblader with a powerful beyblade: Mad Gasher. He is known for going around and scratching other kids' beyblades. He challenges Gingka to a battle, but Gingka refuses to battle him until Tetsuya reveals that he has kidnapped Madoka.
