Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's: Yusei receives a letter telling him to come to a town in the desert in order to rescue one of his friends. When he arrives he encounters different thugs who try to duel him. The person who sent him the letter, Barb, appears and leads Yusei away from everyone. She tells him all about how the town works and informs him that the friend she spoke of is Kalin. He has come here to seek retribution for what he has done in the past. Despite being a good duelist, Kalin is in trouble and Yusei and Barb begin hatching a plan to save him.
