One fire a beam right at the carriage where Flurin and Yuri are. Their saved by Al. He was given a rusty old sword that Al believes holds power when he helped out a village. That night Janus shows up and creates a giant monster. He threatens to continue firing on the town if they don't hand over Al's Holy Sword, Morgif and the new sword Al picked up.
