Doctors: Marc comes across a committed anti-vivisectionist couple who are refusing to take medicine tested on animals. However, their epileptic son's life is at stake, so will their moral principles hold? Meanwhile, the strain of facing daily abuse from demonstrators is taking its toll on the health of research scientist Jack Howard, an old friend of Mac's.
