Simon and Simon: A chimpanzee is the locked up and set for execution for the murder of one of his trainers. His other trainer doesn't believe the chimp could ever hurt someone he loved. Rick and A.J. are hired by her to figure out who the murderer actually is. The chimp witnessed the murder and gives the guys clues through his ability to speak sign language.
