The Flying Doctors : Matt Cameron finds the ambitions his father, Andrew, has given him too difficult to live up to. Things are not aided by the fact that Andrew is a highly successful farmer and he belives his son ought to be as successful as he is. Unable to cope with the pressure of having such a demanding father, Matt takes drastic steps to relieve the situation. Meanwhile, Tom has a difficult time treating Ruth Pitt who lives on the outskits of town in a tent. When she becomes ill with a heart condition, there is a problem with identifying who will look after her son who has severe learning difficulties.
